Orquesta Sinfónica Flamenca (OSFE)
The Orquesta Sinfónica Flamenca (Flamenco Symphonic Orchestra), known as OSFE, is the only symphonic orchestra in Spain (this is to say the only in the world) founded to create a new musical gender: flamenco sinfónico (symphonic flamenco).

The OSFE goal is experiment whether a Symphonic Orchestra can play flamenco without cantaores (flamenco singers), guitarras (guitarrists) and palmeros (clappers). The final goal is that the instruments must sing and make rasgueados and falsetas tecnically in order that the flamenco soniquete, pellizquito and compás emerge from the orchestra instead of the typical flamenco ensemble (cantaor, guitarrista and palmero).
All the repertoire is new and exclusive: orchestrations of works from Paco de Lucía, Vicente Amigo, Rafael Riqueni as well as repertoire of its own, created by Carlos Pacheco, permanent composer of the OSFE and Ph.D. by Cordoba University and Conservatorio Superior de Córdoba .

El reto de la Orquesta Sinfónica Flamenca de España (OSFE), creada por Lucía Moreno Sanz el mismo día en que once años antes la UNESCO había declarado el Flamenco Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad, es experimentar si una orquesta sinfónica puede cantar sin cantaores, hacer palmas sin palmeros así como falsetas de guitarra y rasgueados sin guitarristas.
En sus dos espectáculos, ¡Viva el flamenco sinfónico! and Magia y duende del flamenco sinfónico, presenta el fruto de ese trabajo sin olvidar, claro está, el cante, las palmas y la guitarra ya que es el modo de mostrar de dónde se parte y hacia dónde se quiere ir.
La orquesta realiza giras desde octubre a mayo y durante el verano (julio y agosto).
