Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Clarinet Competition

We are inviting young UK clarinettists to apply to the Conservatoire Clarinet Competition, sponsored by The Wind Section.
Pupils in full-time school education across the UK, of Grade 5 and above, are eligible to apply.
A panel of RCS specialists will select up to five clarinettists to compete in a live final at RCS on Sunday 16 February 2025.
An entry fee of £5 is required by each competitor (non-refundable). Please send your video link (we suggest an unlisted YouTube link) to Woodwind@rcs.ac.uk by Friday 10 January 2025 (midnight).
Video content should show the performer clearly and the sound should be of good quality. Please can you present 4-5mins from your chosen programme.
Prize: The Wind Section has generously offered the winner £1000 towards a Buffet instrument purchase. All finalists will be given a 1:1 clarinet lesson with an RCS specialist (at a future date to be agreed) and tickets to attend an RCS concert of their choice.
