Deadline Extended…
To allow applicants to complete any missing materials, the application deadline for the Wiener Klassik International Soloists Competition is now extended to 21 December 2025. Selected participants will be announced on 31 December 2025.

3rd Wiener Klassik International Soloists Competition – Vienna
welcoming pianists, string players,wind & brass players, vocalists,
conductors, piano duo, chamber ensembles from around the world.

Winners will perform live at the Wiener Konzerthaus on 19 February 2026 with the Wiener Stadtorchester.

*Grand Prize: €5,000 + Concert Performance + Professional Recording
*1st Prize (each category): Live Performance at the Wiener Konzerthaus + Professional Recording
*Special Jury, Wiener Klassik & Honorable Mention: Award Presentation + Photo Documentation
*A work from the Viennese Classical era is encouraged but not required.

This competition appears to include an online round that charges over €35. musicalchairs is concerned that the fee for online judging must be commensurate with the value offered to applicants whether they are successful or unsuccessful. Please therefore study the guidelines for this competition carefully:

Is the Jury for the online round published and are they widely respected musicians?
Does each Jury member listen to the submissions in full?
Do applicants receive detailed and considered feedback about their complete performance/score from the Jury?
