THE RESPIGHI PRIZE IN PERFORMANCE AND COMPOSITION

15th International Music Competition for Composers, Soloists and Conductors

2026 Competition is now open until June 30, 2026

Winners are selected and announced annually typically by Respighi’s birth anniversary on July 9th. Each season, The Respighi Prize offers Winners in Composition a World Premiere at Carnegie Hall, and Winners in Performance (including Pianoforte, Orchestral Instruments, and Voices) and Conducting their Carnegie Hall Debut. (Conductors are vetted directly through our New York Conducting Workshop & Respighi Competition.)

N.B. The Respighi Prize in Composition is open without an annual deadline, and winners will be chosen with the highest criteria of musical composition for premieres in upcoming seasons.
