23rd International Competition "Premio Trio di Trieste"

The 23rd International Competition "Premio Trio di Trieste" is dedicated to the chamber music performance for the following categories: PIANO AND VIOLIN DUO, PIANO AND VIOLA DUO, PIANO AND CELLO DUO, PIANO, VIOLIN AND CELLO TRIO and PIANO, VIOLIN, VIOLA AND CELLO QUARTET.
The event will take place online, on June 27th, 2026, throughout video recording vision and from 12th to 16th September 2026, for live performance rounds. The deadline to participate is June 11th, 2026.
The competition is open to musicians of all nationalities. The average age of ensemble members must not exceed 32,00 as of December 31, 2026.
The Jury will be composed by seven voting members:
Pavel Berman - violin
Simone Gramaglia - viola
Márta Gulyás - piano
Johannes Meissl - violin
Miloš Mlejnik - cello
Dirk Mommertz - piano
Danusha Waskiewicz - viola
Prizes:
1st Prize € 16.000 and 18 important concerts in Italy
2nd Prize € 6.000,00
3rd Prize € 4.000,00
and other ther Special Prizes
