Italian Diction and Repertoire | Juilliard Extension

Embark on a captivating musical journey as we delve into the rich world of Italian repertoire. In this course, singers will acquire essential skills in Italian phonetics and witness how they come to life in the genre of Italian repertoire that resonates with you.

The first part of each class is dedicated to exploring the intricacies of Italian pronunciation, equipping each student with a solid foundation in vocalizing Italian texts. The second part of each class will be an interactive masterclass-style open coaching session, allowing time for students to work on their selected songs and arias, with feedback and commentary provided by both peers and instructors.

Through this collaborative approach, you will refine your vocal technique, interpretation, and artistic expression, elevating your musical abilities to new heights.
