The Alexander Technique for Musicians

“It feels like a wonderful Alexander activity holiday.”

This course is unique in design. Professional and student musicians spend a week playing chamber music together in a beautiful house. There are two grand pianos, one in the small concert hall onsite. Teaching everyday will be qualified and trainee Alexander teachers who are keen to deepen their way of working with musicians – They will be guided by Judith Kleinman and Peter Buckoke, two of the most experienced teachers in this field. All participants will receive individual attention and coaching from Judith and Peter.

Optional evening activities will include, films, discussions, a poetry evening, learning to juggle etc. The outdoor swimming pool will be available at all times (to be safe, there must be two or more swimmers). There is one activity-free afternoon when you can visit the seaside, walk locally, rest in the house and grounds or practise.
