Conducting Masterclass: Bach, Mendelssohn, Distler

The masterclass for conductors and church musicians covers works for choir and orchestra, as well as the specific techniques and working methods of a conductor who simultaneously leads singers and instrumentalists. Each participant in the master class is expected to participate in at least 75 minutes of rehearsals per day and to actively perform in the final concert.
Ensembles:
Sächsischer Kammerchor and J. Märkisches Chamber Orchestra.

Fabian Enders and Professor Wolfgang Kupke (former rector of the University of Church Music, Händelstadt Halle/Saale)

Felix Mendelssohn: Sinfonia in D Major, MWV N 2
J. Sebastian Bach: “Ich hab in Gottes Herz und Sinn,” BWV 92
J. Sebastian Bach: “Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott,” BWV 80
Hugo Distler: "Nun ruhen alle Wälder" (Bärenreiter, BA 7545)
The fees are €300.00 for active participants (€200.00 for passive participants) per person.
