Schubert: Symphony no. 8 – “The Great” D.944, mvt. 3
(Bar 1 until bar 31, & bar105 until bar 151)
Round 3
Orchestral excerpts only
• Mahler: Symphony no. 1, mvt. 3 (bar 3 until bar 10)
• Haydn: Symphony no. 31 “Horn Signal” (Last movement: Finale, Variation 7 – Solo)
• Stravinsky: Pulcinella Suite mvt. 7 (Solo)
• Brahms: Symphony no. 2, mvt. 4 (Bar 1 until bar 32)
• Beethoven: Symphony no. 5, mvt. 3, (Bar 1 until bar 100, & from 140 until bar 217)
• Nielsen: Overture to Masquerade (excerpts as marked)

Interview:
