Fine quality full-size French violin made by Jean-Baptiste Colin ( Guarnerius model) in 1892, labelled, Lutherie Artistique Jean-Baptiste Colin annee 1892. Fine sounding instrument that plays with a deep mellow tone with good volume. Beautifully flamed two piece back ribs neck and scroll.The varnish is golden/brown in colour and completely original. Very good overall condition for a violin of this age, back length is 35.9 cms.Sold with a fine quality case.
