Fine Rare British Gold-Mounted Cello Bow by Garner Wilson – 76g – Tudor Rose Inlay from 1980s

For sale is this magnificent cello bow crafted by the renowned British master bow maker Garner Wilson (1944–2013) who trained at the legendary W.E. Hill & Sons firm.

This bow marks a vital turning point in Garner Wilson's artistic journey. It was created as a tribute to his mentor Arthur Bultitude (who famously utilized a Tudor Rose motif on his own premium frog). Before Wilson permanently adopted his signature "double concentric hoops" later in his independent career, he crafted a select few tribute pieces utilising this beautifully engraved gold Tudor Rose inlay.
