Solo Trumpet, Permanent Position

The Vratsa Symphony Orchestra is a European (EU) orchestra based in Vratsa, Bulgaria. We have an open full-time, permanent position for an orchestral Trumpet player. The ideal candidate should be comfortable performing various roles within the section, alternating between solo performances and secondary parts as per the section's schedule.

AUDITION PROCESS
There is no deadline for applications as we accept submissions on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. The first successful candidate can be hired immediately.

STAGE 1: VIDEO RECORDING
Submit the following:
1. Unedited video recording of you performing a solo piece of your choice, with a video length of 2-5 minutes
2. Unedited video recording of 2-5 orchestral excerpts (of your choice) from any standard audition repertoire
3. A brief CV
STAGE 2: ONLINE INTERVIEW
Successful candidates will be invited to an online interview.
STAGE 3: TRIAL PERIOD IN BULGARIA
Successful candidates will be invited to a paid trial period lasting 2-6 weeks in Bulgaria. Accommodation and salary will be provided during this period. VSO assists with work permits for non-EU applicants.

Salary: €780/month (including taxes)
