The 2026 American Virtuoso International Music Competition (AVIMC) is officially OPEN for entries! We are looking for vocalists and instrumentalists from around the world who embody artistic power and stage charisma.&#13;
Winners will be given the opportunity to perform recitals at Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall!&#13;

Additionally, all participants will receive complimentary masterclass opportunities with adjudicators across various categories.&#13;

Parallel to the competition, the Polstjärnepriset course is being held, which is open to musicians aged 14-20 from the Nordic countries and the rest of Europe.&#13;

Polstjärnepriset is divided into two periods. From 28 October to 1 November 2026, everyone will meet to prepare for the competition, have lessons, and play together in various chamber music groups and orchestras. Right at the start of January, the competition itself takes place, with the final alongside the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra at the Gothenburg Concert Hall on 5 January. Polstjärnepriset ends with a final concert on 6 January.&#13;
