Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra

Learning Projects Coordinator

(full-time, permanent)
£23,350 p/year
Liverpool Philharmonic’s Learning programmes have gone from strength to strength over the years, now working with hundreds of people across the region. We’re currently looking for a Learning Projects Co-ordinator to help deliver multiple projects, including our award-winning Music and Health programme, our Higher Education partnerships, and our Emerging Professionals programme. You will ensure the successful operation of events and activities – overseeing everything from schedules and contracts to music hire – and serve as first point of contact for all participants, partners and stakeholders. You’ll help to grow the reach and diversity of our Learning programmes and be responsible for the safeguarding and health and safety of participants. If you’re a motivated and organised communicator, with a knowledge of music and experience of working with a range of people in creative projects, this might just be the perfect role for you.

This job is for you if:
• You are passionate about music and its impact on the health and wellbeing of children, young people and adults at risk
• You enjoy working in a fast paced, exciting environment
• You thrive working in a creative environment
• You are confident at juggling multiple priorities and projects
• You have an interest or experience in event management, and creating accessible creative spaces
• You can communicate in a compassionate and welcoming way, with a wide range of ages
• You can respond quickly to changing circumstances, confidently thinking on your feet
• You can work autonomously and also as part of a wider team

This job isn’t for you if:
• You cannot work unsociable hours
• You feel less confident in engaging with children, young people and adults at risk
• You are looking to be involved in the musical delivery of activities, rather than the operational and pastoral delivery

Key Information
• Salary: £23,350 per annum
• Contract: Full time, permanent
• Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Closing date: 01 Jun 2025
