Isang Yun Competition

The Isang Yun Competition is held in remembrance of renowned Korean composer Isang Yun (1917-1995), with the aim of supporting emerging international soloists and promoting cultural exchange among nations.
And the Competition is held every year alternately in three categories: Cello, Piano, Violin.
This year's Cello edition will take place from November 1 to 9 in Tongyeong Concert Hall, South Korea. It's open to cellists of all nationalities, born between November 1, 1995, and October 31, 2010. Applications are to be received by July 31, 2025. Applications are open at: www.isangyuncompetition.org
To support the young cellists who have great potential, the Isang Yun Competition will cover the costs of round-trip airfare(including a cello) and accommodations fee for participants selected for the First Round.
