A unique opportunity to explore the Baroque vocal repertoire with Gemma Bertagnolli, one of the most acclaimed early music sopranos in Europe, applauded from Innsbruck to Salzburg.
Held within the FLORE Festival 2025, in Florence, this masterclass is open to opera singers, students, graduates, and young singers aiming to refine their historically informed performance.
Focus areas include:
– Baroque ornamentation, style, and performance practice
– Diction, expression, and affetti in 17th–18th century repertoire
– Arias and recitatives by Monteverdi, Händel, Vivaldi, Scarlatti
– Text interpretation and expressive vocal gesture
