Client Services Bookkeeper
£35,000 - £40,000 p/year
About the role:
Tarisio is seeking to hire a Client Services Bookkeeper in London, servicing our three global offices. The Bookkeeping role will assist with the processes of accounts receivable and payable, journal entries, and reconciliation to develop accurate, consistent, current, reliable, and timely accounting data for use in preparing various internal and external financial reports. This position is an ideal opportunity for a driven and highly-organized individual wishing to develop within a unique and exciting industry which encompasses classical music, fine art & antiquities, and auctions.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Client Services: Including but not limited to the preparation and communication of consignor settlements and buyer invoices
- Financial Management: Monitor bank accounts for cash flow, control the creation and settlement of all A/P and A/R, maintain orderly digital filing system
- Financial Journal Entries: Creation of financial transactions includes posting information to and between accounting software and company database
- Reconciliation: Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account and of all GL accounts to ensure their accuracy
Qualifications / Requirements:
2-3+ years of experience working in Bookkeeping
- 2-3+ years of experience working with Quickbooks, Xero, or similar software
- AAT Level 2 qualification or equivalent
- Intermediate knowledge working with Excel and / Google Sheets
- Bachelor’s (Undergraduate) Degree
- Strong customer service ethics and high expectations for quality
- Strong verbal/written communication, and interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail
- Process-oriented and adaptable mindset
- Strong teamwork mindset, paired with an ability to work independently
