20th International Clarinet Competition "Saverio Mercadante"

Call for the 20th International Clarinet Competition “Saverio Mercadante” that to will take place from 17 to 20 October, 2024 in Noci (BARI, Italy).

Two sections provided:
- SENIOR SOLOISTS (born after 16 September 1989)
application deadline September 16, 2024

- JUNIOR SOLOISTS (born after 7 October 2006)
application deadline October 7, 2024

For SENIOR SOLOISTS section the competition includes three rounds.
1st Round (pre selection) via video. For the 3rd Round the performance of the first two movements of Mozart's Quintet KV581 with the String Quartet is required. The First Prize winner will be awarded a concert tour worth €10,000 & Buffet-Crampon professional clarinet

Is the Jury for the online round published and are they widely respected musicians?
Does each Jury member listen to the submissions in full?
Do applicants receive detailed and considered feedback about their complete performance/score from the Jury?
