Samson Francois International Piano Competition

This year we'll celebrate the 4th edition of the Samson François International piano competition.
Young pianists from all over the world will gather in Cagnes-sur-Mer on the beautiful French Riviera, being inspired by this legendary musician!
Five different age categories.
Children- Young Talents- Junior categories: application deadline is June, 1st. Total prize money is 3.000€.

Young Artists and Artists categories:
Video preselection: application deadline is April, 30th. Total prize money is 10.000€, concert engagements, special prizes.
Partner of the competition is KAWAI France.
Active students of the jury members are not allowed to compete in two highest categories.

We have limited places in host families for candidates in need.

Competition place is near Nice Airport Côte d’Azur.

This competition appears to include an online round that charges over €35. musicalchairs is concerned that the fee for online judging must be commensurate with the value offered to applicants whether they are successful or unsuccessful. Please therefore study the guidelines for this competition carefully:

Is the Jury for the online round published and are they widely respected musicians?
Does each Jury member listen to the submissions in full?
Do applicants receive detailed and considered feedback about their complete performance/score from the Jury?
