In-depth study of orchestral writing through analysis, practice and performance of an unpublished piece for orchestra.
The course is specifically designed to give the student the opportunity to delve into the techniques of writing for orchestra and is aimed at writing a 7/8-minute piece for orchestra that will be rehearsed, performed by the FVG Orchestra and recorded live.
Course period and structure
The course will be held in Pordenone (Italy) and will consist of 3 sessions of 3 days each during the following periods:
• May 9 to 11, 2025
• June 6 to 8, 2025
• September 26 to 28, 2025
