Double Bass Player (tutti, two vacancies)
The Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra (FRSO) is the orchestra of the Finnish Broadcasting Company (Yle). The FRSO, a leading Scandinavian orchestra, can be heard in widely varied repertoire at its concert series in Helsinki Music Centre, on regular tours abroad and on radio, tv, internet and disc. The orchestra’s Chief Conductor is Nicholas Collon.
The FRSO now invites applications for the positions of
Double Bass Player (tutti, two vacancies)
The auditions will be held at the Helsinki Music Centre on February 13th and 14th, 2025 from 9.30 onwards. The deadline for applications is December 15th at 23.59 Finnish time.
The job-specific monthly salary for the position is €3.810,99 (with 5-year professional orchestra experience supplement €3.985,36). There is also dress and instrument allowance.
