Audition’s date : Auditions will be held 16 th January 2025, from 10 am, on the stage of Dijon Auditorium, 11 Boulevard de Verdun - 21000 Dijon

Deadline to register : 10th January 2025

Following the terms prescribed by the CCNEAC, salary grid for chorus singers (French collective bargaining agreement for art institutions).

The job vacancy starts on 25th March 2025

The day of audition will be divided in three different parts throughout the morning.

1st round :
1. An opera aria in original version preferably amongst the following composers: Bellini, Berlioz, Donizetti, Gounod, Massenet, Mozart, Rossini, Verdi, Weber
2. A choir part of the choir score of:
Abstract from Puccini « Turandot » (see enclosure)
3. Great vocalise of Rossini

2nd round :
1. Two choir parts of choir scores:
Abstract from J-S BACH « Church Cantatas BWV 21 » (see enclosure)
Abstract from G. Verdi « Requiem » (see enclosure)
2. Decoding of a melody or abstracts from an opera choir or oratorio.
The candidate will have 5 minutes to prepare this test.

3rd round :
1. Rehearsal :
Working with the whole alto choir, under the musical direction of the choir master for the following abstracts :
2. Abstract from Maurice Ohana « Cantiga del Destierro » (see enclosure)
3. Abstract from Hector Berlioz « The Damnation of Faust » (see enclosure)
4. Arrangement for Chorus « All The Things You Are » by Ward Swingle
5. Interview with jury members
