Répétiteur / Vocal Coach in the Opera Soloists Department

Main Responsibilities:
Accompany musical and stage rehearsals for new productions and current repertoire performances;
Lead individual and group coaching sessions with opera soloists according to the requirements of the production’s music director;
Assist opera soloists in preparing new opera roles, current repertoire roles, and concert repertoire;
Perform during opera performances that include accompanied recitatives;
Inform the production’s music director about the musical preparation of the opera soloists.
Requirements:
We expect that you:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or more) in Piano Performance or a related field;
Have professional experience working with soloists;
Are able to communicate fluently in English (knowledge of other languages such as Italian, French, or German is considered an advantage).

General Information:
The audition will take place on June 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Vilnius, Lithuania. Selected candidates will be contacted personally to arrange the exact audition schedule.
Application deadline: June 15, 2026 (inclusive).
Audition Structure:
The audition consists of three parts:
Performance of a chosen work: the first movement of a Romantic period or 20th-century sonata (approximately 10 minutes);
Work with a soloist: excerpts from Don Giovanni by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – the accompanied recitative of Don Ottavio and Donna Anna, Donna Anna’s aria, and Don Giovanni’s aria. Sheet music excerpts can be found here: SHEET MUSIC.
Sight-reading (approximately 5 minutes).
