First Violin Co-Leader (sitting No. 2) and Sub-Leader (sitting No. 3)

The LSO are seeking a First Violin Co-Leader and Sub-Leader. To apply, please submit an application and pre-recorded first round audition on Musicalchairs by Sun 4 Oct 2026. When making your application, you will have the option to apply for either position, or both. If applying for both positions, please prepare the audition requirements for Co-Leader. The audition requirements and excerpt booklet are below.

Second round auditions will be a live audition in central London on the below dates. Please note, not all dates may be used, so please hold as much availability as possible.

Video second round requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
