Good quality German viola dating around 1890’s.
Labelled inside shows ‘Supplied by W Thompson, 33 Homefield Road, Wembley’.
Has had extensive work done recently by luthier which has transformed the sound, including new boxwood tailpiece, and endpin, newly made custom bridge, improved pegs, nut and fingerboard height, seams glued. Supplied with Obligato strings.
