Fantastic Italian Viola I modello: Paolo Maggini 408mm (40,8cm), 2009 Brescia

Fantastic Italian Viola for solo and chamber music made in Brescia with colorful, brilliant, velvet and warm sound.
The instrument is built as a copy and inspiration of a viola made by Giovanni Paolo Maggini in the 18th century. The back, in a single piece cut tangentially, is of a beautiful Balkan maple with a large and irregular curl. The ribs and scroll are of well watered maple, quarter cut. The table is in two pieces of spruce from Val di Fiemme. The paint is originally orange-brown on a yellow background in imitation of the old one.
