A beautiful cello by Caressa & Francais, ca. 1910, Stradivari modell, in great condition, original in all parts. It was the main instrument of a cellist of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. It has a very rich and large sound. Setup with bois d'harmonie pernambuco tailpiece, french bridge and Larsen strings. A dendrochronological report dates the bass/ treble side to 1900/1901.
Measurements are almost identical to the Archinto Stradivari, currently played by Pablo Ferrandez:
