Graduate Musician

£17,500 p/year
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Graduate Musician for September 2024 to support our strong musical programme at Oakham School. This dynamic and energetic individual would have the opportunity for some academic teaching or team-teaching (with support) at a level to be agreed, and the provision of curricular support to individuals outside the timetable.
There are opportunities for a very good instrumentalist (and strong sight-reader) who can lead/coach young musicians by example, assisting with rehearsals and performances. They will also be involved in accompanying pupils for exams and performances.
The contract is for one academic year initially, with a salary of £17,500 per annum and free accommodation and board will be provided. There will be some flexibility to take on playing commitments away from Oakham that do not conflict with School duties. Please see the Job Description/Person Specification for full details.
