Lecturer in Voice
Description
Multiple vacancies exist for full-time teacher’s of voice (Western Classical / Musical Theatre / Contemporary) to work on courses from Preparatory (beginners) to Diploma (undergraduate) level. KM Music Conservatory was founded in 2008 by A. R. Rahman, the Indian film composer known worldwide for the award-winning Slumdog Millionaire score amongst other work.
Teaching Description
• Delivery of one-to-one lessons in Voice, to students on our Full-Time Courses, validated by Middlesex University, London. Lessons are to prepare students for practical examinations as part of the Foundation and Diploma certificate programmes.
• Teach group master classes for students of various performance disciplines and occasionally assist in delivery of other related music courses as skills allow.
• Run ensembles and prepare students for public performances
• Assessing student performances and preparing materials for annual assessment processes.
• Contributing to the search for and development of innovative methods of teaching, learning and assessment as part of KMMC’s learner-centred approach to education
