Royal Liverpool Philharmonic is one of the UK’s most important music organisations, reaching over 500,000 people annually through its live and participative work, and millions more online. Its work encompasses the world-renowned Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, a diverse programme of over 400 concerts and events each year in Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and the Music Room, our Youth Company and an extensive music learning and outreach programme.
We are currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Head of Individual & Corporate Giving to raise essential funds to support Liverpool Philharmonic’s extensive and acclaimed activity. Working to maximise revenue and impact, they will devise and deliver a philanthropic strategy, increasing fundraising income while strengthening and developing key relationships with donors, members and corporate partners. They will co-lead a busy fundraising team, overseeing campaigns and donor events, and collaborating with colleagues to identify further opportunities for philanthropic investment. They will set and then monitor fundraising targets, continually refine strategies, and work to effectively cultivate new relationships and a pipeline of prospective supporters.
The successful candidate will bring significant experience in senior fundraising and have a proven track record of delivering against targets. With the ability to inspire and motivate a team, and cultivate long-term relationships with stakeholders, they will sustain and expand Liverpool Philharmonic’s impressive reach and impact.
