2026 Azrieli Music Prizes – Call for Submissions

Created in 2014 by Sharon Azrieli CQ for the Azrieli Foundation, the Azrieli Music Prizes (AMP) launches its sixth and largest Call for Submissions on February 7, 2025.
AMP comprises four categories: a Commission for Canadian Music, a Commission for International Music, a Commission for Jewish Music and a Prize for Jewish Music.
Composers who are selected to become an AMP Laureate receive a prize package valued at over $200,000 CAD, which includes a cash award of $50,000 CAD; a premiere of their prize-winning work at a gala concert in Montréal, within the 26-27 season, which will be livestreamed globally; at least two subsequent international performances; and a commercial recording release.
Composers are invited to submit their scores and proposals for Choir and Orchestra (with optional soloists) for all four prizes now through 2 May 2025.
AMP welcomes nominations from individuals and institutions of all ages, genders, nationalities, faiths and backgrounds. No entry fee.
