Musical Life Competition

Musical Life Competition is a prestigious international classical music competition, open to dedicated young musicians ages 18 and under in piano, strings (violin, viola and cello), in solo and small ensembles. All applicants have the opportunity to audition live in New York or can audition virtually via youtube, and receive comments from our esteemed jury. Winners perform in celebrated halls in New York including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, and Merkin Concert Hall, and may receive additional exposure and recognition.

Composers in Residence offers a unique opportunity for rising composers to bring their original works to life. Selected composers will have their original works premiered at Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall or Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center, be featured on the Musical Life Foundation website and may qualify for further feature opportunities.
