The 2026 Kosciuszko Foundation Wieniawski Violin Competition is open for applications!
The Competition will take place on November 7-8, 2026, at the Foundation's House in NYC (15 E. 65th Street).
Eligible applicants include violinists of all nationalities, ages 16-30, who are US citizens, permanent residents, or holders of a valid US visa.
More than $20,000 in cash prizes and performance awards will be presented.
The 2026 Competition will be adjudicated by Adrian Sylveen, an internationally active conductor and violinist, Philip Setzer, founding member of the Grammy Award–winning Emerson String Quartet, and Joanna Kurkowicz, an acclaimed soloist, chamber musician, and concertmaster. The Final Round will feature Eugene Drucker as Honorary Juror. A nine-time Grammy Award winner and three-time Gramophone Magazine Award recipient.
