Piano Class | Juilliard Extension

In this class, students explore classical piano technique, style, interpretation, memorization, and performance practice in a master-class group setting. Each section of this class is limited to four students. Active listening, discussion, and attention are critical elements of group piano classes. Informal performances are given throughout the semester, and department-wide seminars featuring guest experts and master teachers round out the learning experience. Students are placed according to playing ability and potential to contribute to and enhance a positive group learning dynamic. Application deadline: Tuesday, September 1 @ 5pm ET.
