Flutes in Tuscany 2025

Elizabeth Walker set up Flutes in Tuscany in Tereglio, to explore all aspects of flute playing with inspiring tutors in breathtaking surroundings. In 2025 we welcome Karen Jones as our guest tutor on modern flute along with Sarah Murphy and Carlo Ipata joins Elizabeth Walker to coach our baroque flautists.
The course is deliberately kept small so that flautists can work together throughout the week, following individually crafted timetables that include one-on-one tuition, workshops, master classes, ensembles and practice time. Everyone comes together daily for delicious, home produced meals provided by the villagers, using a wonderful array of locally sourced ingredients.
There are opportunities to play in a variety of concerts, both as a soloist and in ensembles, and our professional accompanist, Aaron Burrows.
Open to anyone over the age of 16 but particularly suitable for adults looking to improve confidence by performing and trying new ideas. Set in idyllic Tuscany.
