Rank & File Violin – (1-Year Contract Opportunity)

The Agency for the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) is currently accepting applications from interested musicians to join the Orchestra as Rank & File Violin players on a contract-for-service (self-employed) basis for a definite period of one year.

Qualified musicians holding a university degree in music performance, a conservatory diploma, or an equivalent qualification, and with experience in orchestral playing, are invited to submit a detailed curriculum vitae along with a recent video recording of some orchestral excerpts of your own choice. While the Agency seeks musicians who are available to start immediately for a one-year period, we are open to negotiating start dates with successful applicants, if required. We are also flexible and welcome applications from candidates interested in shorter commitments.

The package offered for these positions is €1,951 per month. The engagement will be on a freelance basis.
