Background
• This temporary fixed-term role is designed to support the TSO violin section (14 members) cover various leave and augmentation requirements during the 2025 season.
• This duration of this contract will be for the TSO 2025 season, from Thursday 30 January until Saturday 13 December.
• The successful applicant must be available for all Tutti Violin work during this period

Please Note
• As this position is offered on a fixed-term basis primarily to accommodate a flexible work arrangement for a permanent TSO musician, and there is no commitment to any permanent part-time or full-time employment at TSO beyond the term of this contract.
• The successful candidate must be based in Nipaluna / Hobart for the duration of the contract. A relocation contribution may be offered for interstate candidates.
Eligibility
• This position is only open to Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents of Australia, or New Zealand Citizens.
Process
• The EOI process is open from Tuesday 5 November November and closes on Friday 22 November at midday
• EOIs may be submitted to auditions@tso.com.au - full details regarding what to send in your EOI can be found on our website
• All EOIs received will be considered by the Audition Panel
• Musicians who submit an EOI may be asked to undertake an audition
TSO intends to assess the EOI applications in late November 2024, with an appointment made by early December 2024.
