Fox 680 High Resonance Bell
Precio: €1500
Fox 680 High Resonance Bell for sale. The model is apparently the best bell that Fox produces.
The condition is very nice and barely used. The bell has been valued by a Fox dealer to be worth €1500 (a new one costs $2035,75 for reference).
Bottom diameter inside - 4,1 cm
Top diameter inside - 4,3 cm
Total length - 35,6 cm
Previously owned by the renowned bassoonist Anders Engström (winner of the Geneva Prize and solo bassoonist of the Royal Opera in Stockholm). The bell improves sound quality so much that Engström wanted the bell back for his new Heckel but had to decline since he got discouraged by an instrument technician from changing the placement of the keywork on his pre WW1 bassoon to fit this bell. This should give you a clue about the bell’s excellent quality!
The reason to why I'm selling it is that my current bassoon is too wide in the base joint, otherwise I would have used this wonderful bell myself! Shipping worldwide.
