This is the best of all the oboes that I have commissioned from the Dupin Family for my students and me over many years. The third octave key is placed so that the player has the best of both worlds with the well rounded conservatoire B Flat and the mellow thumb plate C fingering as additional choices. This oboe plays sweetly in the upper register, easily and quietly in the lower register. It has optimum balance, range and depth of tone.
