I am selling an outstanding Heckel bassoon, model 11XXX ter. It has been serviced every two years by Walter Rieger in Rüsselsheim, most recently in fall 2024.
When my teacher, who was principal bassoonist in a German orchestra, wanted to sell it 20 years ago, I compared it to my 13XXX ter Heckel, and it was better, so I've been playing this beautiful instrument ever since and sold my 13XXX ter. I'm selling it because I've now got a brand new Heckel! Fourteen years ago, I had the finger holes lined with inside protruding sterling silver tubes and various rollers. The instrument has a powerful, resonant sound with excellent focus, and its response is superb! Contact me for more details.
