Deering banjo (John Hartford), removable resonator, wood tone ring, brown case with Aloha sticker

Theft was Saturday morning between 1 and 5 from Carlsbad by the Sea resor (room 124). Thief entered room and snatched the banjo in brown case with Aloha sticker from the closet. It is a Deering banjo with wooden tone ring and known as the John Hartford model because it is set up for both Scruggs and frailing picking styles. It has a removable resonator. Banjo head had a bunch of signatures on it. I had owned the banjo for at least 25 years and paid Walt Richards $2100 at the time of purchase.
