This orchestra remained active until 1860, when Shafran left Shumen.
Today, the Shumen State Philharmonic Orchestra presents a rich and diverse repertoire across various genres and styles. The orchestra has toured extensively, performing in countries such as Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Monaco, Belarus, Greece, and South Korea.
