Prizes of £2000, £1000 and £500 are offered to the winning finalists.
The final will take place on 9th April 2026 at the Royal Academy of Music, London. Finalists will prepare a 20 minute programme of music from the Musica Britannica editions.
The Competition is open to students currently registered at a UK higher-education institution (university or conservatoire), and to early-career performers who have graduated from such an institution no more than five years before the date of the competition.
The 2026 competition is for keyboard players.
Candidates must submit an application form, together with an audio-visual audition recording, and two letters of recommendation. Full details about the application can be accessed via the website link given.
