A beautifully crafted 19th-century double bass attributed to Paul Claudot, fitted with a Roger Dawson C extension. This instrument has been meticulously maintained by Ben Wolstenholme, Roger Dawson, and Laurence Dixon.
Played in many of the UK’s top orchestras, including during my tenures with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic, this bass offers exceptional balance across all registers, making it an ideal choice for professional players and advanced students.
