Distinguished French c.1880 double bass bought by the owner’s Grandfather to play in Glasgow. Played by its present owner in the National Youth Orchestra 1963-1965 and at Cambridge University.Also in jazz groups .It has been completely restored by Thomas and George Martin , Violin Makers Ltd.Babington Barn, Williamscot, Banbury, Oxfordshire OX17 1AD.
