This Sankyo Mopane Flute, crafted in January 2026, is a custom, made-to-order piece featuring:
• Offset G
• Split E mechanism
• B Foot Joint
• Lip Plate model Head Joint
Sankyo Mopane flutes are made to order, with waiting lists exceeding over one year. As it stands, this is the only Mopane Sankyo flute currently available on the open market, from what I can find, highlighting just how rarely these instruments appear for sale.
Something truly special when playing this instrument, making a beautiful, dark velvety sound, lovely response, giving power and resonance.
