A classic Boosey & Hawkes Besson Sovereign 981 EE♭ tuba, dating from around 1984–86.
The 981 is a professional-level British tuba from the classic Sovereign range, well regarded for its powerful, centred sound, projection and suitability for concert and brass band playing.
Lacquer-finish and remains in good playing condition. The valves are working well, and the instrument comes with a case.

Lacquer finish with normal cosmetic wear consistent with age and use
Single noticeable dent to the lower bow
