Priority will be given to candidates who possess the ability to teach courses such as music theory, sight-singing/ear training, and conducting.
Job description:
1.Teaching composition optional courses;
2.Conduct ongoing and summative assessments of students, monitor their progress, and communicate feedback with the department and students' parents in a timely manner;
3.Provide tutoring sessions for students in need of additional assistance;
4.Implement teaching following the established school's general music curriculum, assisting the department in optimizing the curriculum;
5.Participate in new student assessments and assist the department in class assignments;
6.Attend department/school meetings and training sessions.
Qualification:
(1)Postgraduate or higher qualifications in Music Performance, Composition, or Music Theory, with the ability to use English as a working language. Preference will be given to those with overseas study experience or relevant work experience;
(2)Experience in teaching small group composition courses;
(3)Proficiency in teaching students aged 8-18 and strong class organization skills;
(4)Open-mindedness towards Western music teaching philosophies;
(5)Excellent communication skills, strong collaborative abilities, and the capability to effectively communicate verbally or in writing with students, parents, teachers, and other staff members;
(6)Well-mannered, with a good image and demeanor, physically healthy, passionate about music education, possessing a strong sense of responsibility and ambition, and skilled in communicating with parents.
