Orchestra's Conductor Competition

In cooperation with the Chamber Radio Orchestra Bucharest, we present the 4th edition of the Orchestra’s Conductor Competition, which will be held in Bucharest from 9 to 14 May 2025. Candidates of all nationalities are invited to apply from 1 October 2024 until 20 January 2025. There is no age limit.
This new competition concept, who gives the candidates the unique opportunity of being selected by the orchestra’s musicians, has already a great success among the conductors around the world. There is no jury, except during the initial phase, and the winner of the first prize will come back to conduct the guest orchestra in the next seasons. For all the winners there will also be the possibility of other invitations to 4, 5 or more different orchestras, whose directors will be invited to attend the final round of the competition. Representatives of international Artists Agencies and music journalists will be invited as well.
