2025 Ricard Viñes international Piano Competition

We are delighted to announce the 2025 edition of the Ricard Viñes International Piano Competition, taking place from 24-28 June 2025 in Lleida, Spain. This prestigious competition offers young pianists (ages 18 to 35) an exceptional platform to showcase their artistry, culminating in a unique opportunity for the finalists to perform with a renowned orchestra in Lleida. The first prize includes €12,000 and concert engagements at the Palau de la Música in Barcelona in the following season.

This year, we are honoured to have a distinguished international jury, headed by Nestor Bayona alongside:
Kun-Woo Paik
Alba Ventura
Lise de la Salle
Juan Floristán

This competition appears to include an online round that charges over €35. musicalchairs is concerned that the fee for online judging must be commensurate with the value offered to applicants whether they are successful or unsuccessful. Does each Jury member listen to the submissions in full?
